What we’re building
Finding someone reliable usually means word of mouth, a social media group, or a quote from a stranger who wants cash up front. Professionals spend time chasing quotes and invoices. OnStandby puts the search, the chat, the quote, the payment and the record of the job in one app, for both sides.
Found on merit
Professionals are ordered by distance, availability, ratings and reliability. There are no ads and no paid placement.
Clear fees
Customers pay the professional’s price. OnStandby takes 8% of completed jobs, from the professional’s payment. It’s stated here and in our Terms.
A record of the job
Messages, photos and payments are kept, so if there’s a disagreement it can be reviewed fairly.
